We have a dedicated fraud team dealing with all aspects of the investigation and defence of potentially fraudulent claims and are continually testing the boundaries of current case law.

We focus on three distinct areas of fraud. The first is opportunistic fraudulent claims, covering the general remit of staged accidents, phantom passengers and induced accidents. The second area concerns organised fraud, including fraud rings of varying sizes and the systematic use of compromised credit cards to obtain insurance policies. The third is credit hire fraud.

We regularly offer training days for our clients, which has previously included a mock trial, utilising our trusted fraud counsel. We value the opportunity of developing our own knowledge in this fast moving area, by maintaining a close working relationship with our insurer clients.

In conjunction with one of our clients, we are developing a number of fraud preventative schemes, focusing on early evidence gathering in an attempt to ensure that we only litigate the strongest cases.

We can offer bespoke, fraud specific, management information.
